It was quite amusing - before Thanksgiving Kaitlyn would get super annoyed if she'd see Christmas stuff or hear Christmas songs. She'd always say, 'What about Thanksgiving!' But now that Thanksgiving has passed she's really, really excited about Christmas. So much so that she begged and begged that we go get our Christmas tree on Sunday. Her enthusiasm was catchy and it helped that there was bright blue skies and sunshine (although COLD) and the weather forecast for next weekend was rain/snow shower mix. Thus, off we headed to the u-cut. The earliest we've ever gone...by a lot!
I mentioned my concern that the tree would be super dry/dead before Christmas. Kaitlyn's response, 'It doesn't matter if we have a brown tree, at least we have one!' Love that girl!
