Crazy For Animals

I can't believe I've gone this long without visiting the San Diego Zoo! It didn't take any convincing for KP to be all in. She heard 'animals' and she was all for the zoo! She's our little animal lover. Highly recommend the zoo and the Backstage Pass - both were really great experiences!

Sunny San Diego -Oh, How I Heart you!

Last weekend we packed our bags and headed for the sunshine in San Diego! And boy did it deliver. Everyday was mid-to upper 70s and it was just heavenly! We split our time between the beach/pool and the San Diego Zoo. I already knew the beach was great but this was our first time doing the zoo and it was AMAZING! We did the Backstage Pass and it was totally worth it - super-duper cool!

Breakfast view - does it get any better than this? LOVE Woody's!
Woody's - our new favorite breakfast spot!
KP LOVED playing in the ocean and running into and from the waves!
View from the deck of our room - gorgeous!

So Very Thankful!

What a wonderful holiday weekend! We have sooo many things to be thankful for including a wonderful family, a safe return from a great trip to San Diego (post up next), and my sister's surgery over and done with - let the healing begin!!

Kaitlyn's Thankful list: My family, my friends, food, water, and freedom.
Also, check out her super cute hand print turkey that she did all on her own.
Turkey dinner done and for the girls that means we
are on to Christmas and gingerbread houses- lol!

All Treats

This year we had TWO costumes lined up. Elsa and Black Cat. Kaitlyn kept changing her mind between the two in the weeks leading up to Halloween but come Halloween morning she was quite adamant that the choice for the night was the 'Black Cat' costume. Secretly I was thrilled as I knew that Elsa would be everywhere that night (although it made for a fun drinking game for adults - every Elsa that comes to your house, take a shot!).

We attended the annual Moser-frightfest and had a blast (even better that it fell on a Friday)! And I must say, we had the cutest black cat ever!

No costumes allowed at school but how cute is this outfit?!
I seriously LOVE these black boots, too!
No shocker - KP picked a cat to carve on one of her pumpkins!
Cousin Love!
Meow!
Double meow!
These kiddos got some serious candy loot!
