What a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend we had! On Thanksgiving day, Grammy Jill and Papa Dirt headed up for a great lunch. Ham, rosemary potatoes, string beans with bacon, cheddar cheese rolls, pumpkin pie, and apple pie. Yummo!

Funny convo with KP the night prior:

KP: Mama, I'm so glad we aren't having turkey tomorrow.

Me: Really, why?

KP: Because I don't want to hurt an animal. Hey, where does ham come from?

Me: (thinking quickly) It comes from the ham farm. Goodnight sweetie!

Seriously, ham is one of the only meats she'll eat. I couldn't ruin it yet. I'm sure it will come back to haunt me. I will not be one bit surprised if she decides to become vegetarian or vegan at some point. Her love for ALL animals (excluding spiders) is off the charts.  

Friday we headed to the Mosers for round 2 of the weekend! This time prime rib was our main meal. So incredibly good! Everything was great from the food to the company to the laughs. Oh how I love our family!!
