School Sweetheart Fun

Today Kaitlyn had her Valentine's Day celebration at school. It was all kinds of fun!

The prep for this year was very different though. Kaitlyn was involved in the entire process of valentines. She picked out a specific valentine for each kid (the reasoning behind the choices was hilarious!), selected a specific tattoo for each kid to attach to the valentine, wrote the child's name and then signed the card as well. Lots of work and effort and I'm so proud of her.

Of course in true Kaitlyn fashion, that wasn't enough we had to get more crafty. So once that was done she decided we needed to bust out the cellophane bags, decorate the bags with Valentine stickers, stick a tootsie pop in with the valentine and then select different ribbon for each kiddo to tie these up. Although it took us a while it was really fun to do all this with her. Martha Stewart, watch out! Well, the craft dealo I mean...not the whole break the law, go to jail dealo! And hopefully not the whole fashion dealo...ponchos, especially with an ankle bracelet are out for KP. Okay I digress!
