O Christmas Trees...

....yep, that's plural. This year we got a family one and one for Kaitlyn. Every year Auntie Jen gets Kaitlyn a special ornament. That, combined with the ornaments she's made and that Grammy Jill and Nana have gotten her, equals her very own tree full of ornaments.

Here's the family one. Kaitlyn picked it out this year and it is beautiful!! We still have it up and I will be sad to take it down in a few days. If you lean in it still smells really wonderful.

 

 

And here's Kaitlyn's tree completely and totally decorated by her. The second picture is the ornament that she got from her Auntie Jen. The great thing about these ornaments is that Jen always gets one to reflect KP's favorite things from that year. It brings back great memories going through them and remembering when she got them and what she was doing/loving at that time. As you'll see, this year's ornament reflects Kaitlyn's obsession with anything dog-related. 

And one last tradition that Auntie Jen does every year. The Christmas pj's. This year they said, 'I'm on the nice list'. Some times that was true, others not so much. :)
