Melrose Grill

Last night Kaitlyn and Emily had a great time hanging out with Karen. We try to get KP and Karen together at least once every couple of months because Kaitlyn definitely misses  her and all the fun she has with her.

I suggested that the Mosers join us this time and we had a lovely, grown-up evening out. We started out at the Terrible Beauty, an Irish bar in downtown Renton. Yummy drinks and lots of laughs and then we were off to Melrose Grill. No, not Melrose Place with Billy, Amanda, Jake, Allison, Michael, etc. (Whoops, did I just admit to watching that show back in the day?!) Anyways, we decided to try something new and Melrose Grill definitely did not disappoint. It was FANTASTIC!!! More drinks at the bar as we waited for a table and then an incredible meal followed.

Thanks Mosers! We soooo needed a night out that didn't involve crayons, table paper to draw on, a kids menu with lots of fried foods, or shoveling in our food before the attention span of a 3-year old was up. Even better was that they didn't hand out balloons upon leaving. :)

And it was no surprise that when we got home we found that during our few hours away a fort had been built, a craft project done, a hide and seek game was still going on, lots of giggles were heard and dinner and dessert had already been served. Man, Karen rocks!
