So Proud of this Girl!

February 2021

Remote school during a pandemic has been nothing any of us could've imagined or wanted. Nonetheless, KP is getting it done and persevering - so proud of her resilience! This award, Quality Producer, is well deserved - way to go, KP!

Em's 17th Birthday

February 6, 2021

We celebrated Emily's birthday with snow...well mainly slushy, wet, freezing snow/rain. Although not the best weather day, it was super fun to celebrate Emily's birthday at Snoqualmie Pass tubing! Good memories!

Sunrise

January 2021

Sometimes you need a little reminder that even during these crazy times there is beauty all around. Morning sunrise mid-January made me stop for a moment and remember that everything isn't shit and perspective is so important.

And this post wraps up the first month of 2021!

Woodland Park WildLanterns

January 2021

One of the hottest tickets for winter 2020/2021 was for Woodland Park Zoo. They hosted a new light display...WildLanterns! And getting tickets was tough. With some persistence I lucked out but had to buy them more than a month in advance. Not really sure what weather would be like (or Covid restrictions/requirements), I took the leap and purchased (they weren't cheap either). So glad I did! We went mid-January and it hit at a time when we REALLY needed to get out of the house after so many days of the same routine of work and school from home, rarely leaving to go anywhere or do anything fun. So many cool pictures/scenes but sharing just a few. And of course, we had to hit Dick's Drive In on the way home for a yummy burger!

2020 New Year's Eve!!

December 31, 2020

A really fun evening at home where amazingly ALL of us made it to midnight (yep, including me!).

We kicked our night off with a fun zoom party with the Mosers competing in all kinds of games and reflecting on 2020. Then we were off to solve the 'Death at the Dive Bar' mystery. A great night even though we couldn't all be together in person!

Wrapping up the 2020 Holiday Season (Yep, that's a year ago!)

December 2020

Christmas 2020 was unlike any other with the ongoing pandemic and no vaccinations yet available. We had to significantly reduce gatherings outside of those we lived with and when possible, get togethers needed to be outdoor. Certain staples (toilet paper, disinfecting wipes, sanitizer, etc.) were still extremely short in supply whereas uncertainty and angst were abundant. We muddled our way through the season best as possible and tried to create special memories. Regardless of the uncertainty, we are so thankful for all the goodness in our lives and feel very blessed.

Christmas Morning:

Ridiculously large stockings!
Yep, I ordered the wrong size - whoops

Grill mats...again! Maybe this year
he'll use them - hahahaha

The impossible to find PS5!
After months of looking, I scored it last minute
on a fluke during an early morning grocery trip to FM

My calm and happy place with
my Glassybaby - thanks, Jen!

Outdoor Christmas Gathering @ the Krauses:

Definitely a Christmas we'll remember in more ways than one!
